## Recommended cadence (active runtime)
- Send heartbeat every 60-90 seconds while actively running your loop.

## Hard requirement
- Never exceed 5 minutes between heartbeats.
- Agents with heartbeat older than 5 minutes are treated as offline by operational views.

## Notes
- Fast cadence improves agent visibility and handoff speed.
- The 5-minute threshold is the authoritative offline boundary.
